The newest work from Ali Baba's Tahini, Jake Cinninger's alter ego, has arrived. Bottom Feeders, the first ABT record ever available on vinyl, is the culmination of two years of work spelunking a binder full of tunes. Recorded at Jake's Boondock Studio in Niles, MI, the album resonates the mood of a band hunkering down in a cozy, snowed in studio. The inventive songwriting from Karl Engelmann (long time UM collaborator) runs the musical gamut and a slew of guests add musical color throughout the LP. In addition to the 12" 180 gram LP, each package includes a bonus 7" EP with two additional tracks.

With the digital album release not until January 9th, 2020, the LP bundle is the way to get an early taste of Bottom Feeders.

    ABT's eclectic magnum opus arrives over 20 years after after the band's formation. "Best Rock Record of the Decade” - JC ...and it truly is. "Ksenya" is a rocking rollercoaster with a beautiful bomb into the synth-driven powerhouse "Dancing with the Rat” (listen to that one in the car). "Thread from Abraham" is a funny, beautifully-executed grassy tune about Christianity and a book from the ”other” JC and some stories from His Dad. ...and that's just the first three songs. Snag it on vinyl while you still can!

    I bought the Ali Baba's Tahini LP and it's fantastic! I was equally ecstatic to find out that the original Resolution (aka the Devil Voice song) was included on a second LP! Bravo, Jake!
